We are a small, family run home and our team of caring support staff are  dedicated and genuine. They strive to  provide the most appropriate care for everyone who has chosen to live at Elgin Residential.

At the very heart of the service we offer is the constant development of trusting, open and positive relationships between the care team and the users of our service and their families and friends..

The intimacy of our home is what makes it different from larger care establishments. Elgin offers a secure, comfortable and homely environment where  people and personal relationships thrive. 

Our support staff know our residents and have the time to care in a person-cenetred way. This is the culture of our service.  We strive to develop these values through  staff training and practise and by leadership of management.

Keyworkers

All members of our dedicated care team work in conjunction with each resident, their family, carers and other support services, across primary care and secondary care.

It is our goal to communicate clearly and  deliver continuity of good quality care while  protecting the rights of every individual.

Everyone who chooses to live at ELGINCARE is assigned a member of  staff known as a keyworker. Your keyworker will advocate and represent your interests and ensure that additional assistance and support will be provided  throughout transition into the home.

It is the role of your  Keyworker to ensure  that you are aware of discussions and decisions that may need to be made regarding   care objectives and care planning.

Keyworkers  are important contacts for our users of our service,  their families and friends.
